TV Cast for Roku App App Reviews

The TV Cast for Roku app is fine, as others have indicated and is noted in the TV Cast for Roku app when you first install it, the Roku software update has a broken TV casting ability. By default, my Roku 3500X streaming stick (I have three of them) checks for software updates automatically, so like mine your TV Cast may have been working just fine the one day then suddenly stopped working. Ive tried rebooting everything, switching my WiFi from 2G hz to 5Ghz even changed my WiFis channel to a less-used one. The only way this can be fixed is for Roku to *release a software update for their devices* that fixes their broken ability to cast to the Roku device. Cmon Roku developers! After 2 broken updates you cant (or choose not to) fix this?

I purchased the full version of the app as a link from my iPhone to my roku tv. Most times it worked but there have been many times it requires a restart or repetitive attempts at streaming video. Now the app tells me I need to get with Roku due to changes they made. If I pay for your app YOU GET WITH ROKU to fix the issue. Otherwise give the app away. Very disappointed in purchasing this app.

This app is fantastic. Ive been an iOS user since the days of the original iPhone and this is probably the 2nd app Ive actually purchased--for real-- Worth it! The unpaid version is great, but I wanted to support their efforts because this app is so great.

I find tv/ movies online to watch (ones not on Netflix for ex) and cast them to my Roku. Works well.

I love this app, worked right out of the box. Simple. Easy. And super effective. I gave it a try and 5 mins later I was buying the full version just on sheer principle. Great app!

This app is awesome. This is the 1st review Ive written, the ease of this app is worthy of review! I wanted to cast web movies to my Roku tv. Anytime I try to figure something out I search uTube & watch related videos to what Im trying. I watched the video, downloaded & opened the app, turned on my Roku tv & BOOM....instantly connected, entered the web address for the streaming movies I watch, selected the movie, tapped at the bottom where it says tap here & within seconds I was watching a movie! Everything worked perfectly, remote able to pause, rewind, volume control. Great app

This app doesnt do anything extra that my Roku doesnt already do. dont waste your time or money

App hasnt worked in MONTHS

This app is not user friendly. I have multiple network apps already on my phone but it doesnt recognize them. So when I find a episode of a show I want to watch it ask me to download the app.... I already have the app for the network show I want to watch. Example USA network already on my phone. I cant open the show I want and watch it on chromecast or Roku. So I open this app and type in USA network and the show I want to watch then it tells me to download the USA app..... that I already have. No sense! Just do away with this app.

I use this app once or twice a week and it works great.

Just downloaded the most current version of tv cast on my IPhone5S with current update. And Roku TV is updated at version 7.2.0 Runs fine with no issues! Tried it with a couple of sites
